Patrick Little
Owner, General Manager, Club Professional, and Course Superintendant, Pat is a complete hands on "Golf Operations Director". A Class A-1 member of the Canadian Professional Golfer's Association, he has been a professional for over 4 decades. Pat began his career as an Assistant Professional with both the Glendale and Royal Mayfair Golf Clubs in Edmonton, Alberta. In 1982 he was appointed Head Golf Professional at the semi private Vernon Golf and Country Club in the Okanagan Valley, B.C. There, he stayed for 22 years where he and his wife Jackie raised their family. During that time, he was twice voted "Best Golf Professional" in the Okanagan and his junior golf program was voted to be the best in the province on two other seperate occasions. While there also, he taught numerous players who went onto the win most of the Provincial golf titles including the BC Ladies Amateur, BC Senior Ladies Amateur, BC Junior Boys, BC Junior Ladies, and BC Public Links Champions. His best score on a full length course is 62 and he has had 4 holes in one. In 2004, he and Jackie consolidated their earnings and purchased "The Hollies Executive Golf Course", where they have continued to operate for nearly a decade and where they continued their ways in being awarded the small business of the year award in 2009. Passionate about the sport and always striving to improve the golf course for his customers, he is happily married with 2 grown children, Robert and Janine. His personal interests are: his family, playing the world's top 100 golf courses, photography, music, bonsai, and cooking.
Jackie Little
Owner and bookkeeper, when Jackie is not out on the golf tournament trail, she can be seen helping out behind the counter selling green fees or food and beverages. Jackie is well known in the amateur golf scene at all levels including zone, provincial, national and international levels. At the physical height of 4'10", it is hard to imagine this woman has won 4 Canadian Women's Championships, 15 provincial championships, numerous zone championships, and golf tournaments around the continent that number over 250!! She also made her impact on the international golf circuit when she reprsented Canada as team captain at both the Women's World Amateur Championships and the Commonswealth Games, as well as being recognized twice as the Pacific North West player of the year. In 2009, Jackie was inducted into the British Columbia Golf Hall of Fame, voted best athlete in British Columbia and was a Score Golf Magazine winner for 2 years straight. She has represented the Hollies' in the United States, Britain, Puerto Rico, New Zealand, South Africa, Malaysia, and Ireland. Her best score on a full length course is 67 and she has had 5 holes in one. Blessed with an engaging personality, a pleasant demeanor, and a golf swing to truly "die for", Jackie sets a high standard for friendliness, and playing accountability for all customers at the Hollies! She and Pat recently became the grandparents to their granddaughter Myelle of Nelson, British Columbia
Charlene Warner
There are no words to speak of to describe the value Charlene Warner adds to the Hollies when Pat or Jackie are away. One of the most friendly hosts of any business, Charlene is competent, extremely friendly, and thoroughly accomodating. When not at the golf course, Charlene can often be found out near the Pacific Rim National Park with her partner Rick on their boat fishing, their first love and past time. One day, we may even entice Charlene onto the golf course!
Steve Christian
The Hollies could not exist without Steve Christian! To operate a golf course one needs a mechanic and not just any mechanic. It needs a person who understands machinery, cutting units, mechanical theory, bearing technology, and in general, a common sense and calm approach to the everyday problems that crop up and with the machinery almost daily on every golf course. The grooming one sees on any golf course is almost literally the result of the ability of the mechanic. The Hollies cannot afford a person of this skill and yet, Steve Christian is there for us through thick and thin. Whether it is welding an arm to supporting a cutting unit to rerouting the electricals of today's complex machinery, Steve literally drops everything to come to our aid. There is little doubt we would be as effective in our community and to our customers without the compassionate nature of this incredible person. Thank you Steve!!
Tiger
The small black pomeranian dog seen around the golf clubhouse is our loyal pet and course mascot.
